Every palette contains both matte and shimmer shades. And I'd wear every single one of them.

Never have I seen a palette combine brights and neutrals so well. This palette could create a hundred looks.

Lorac Pro 2 palette ($42)*

So, so beautiful. I am in love with that green shade.

Urban Decay Naked 2 palette (£38)

The original Naked palette is incredible; this is its cooler-toned sister. I want to stick my fingers in those gorgeous soft taupe-greys.

Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette (£39 at Debenhams)

A gorgeous mix of light, deep and metallic shades for creating endless looks. 

Tarte Showstopper palette ($38)*

Encompassing six gorgeous shadows plus highlighter, bronzer and blush. I love the vintage-style packaging. This is summer in a circle.

Stila Eyes are the Window: Soul palette (£30)

Every palette in the Eyes are the Window collection is gorgeous, but the soft smoky sultry browns of the Soul palette are my favourite.The rose gold packaging is sublime.

Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita palette (£38)

Rich, sumptuous, velvety shades that complement each other beautifully. 

Nars And God Created Woman palette (£35)

A brilliant day-to-night palette. I love the combination of soft pinks, plums and earthy metallics.

MAC Burgundy x 9 palette (£30)

Nine shades in a beautiful burgundy ombre, this is one of the most beautifully curated palettes I've ever seen.

Tarte Showstopper palette:

Sephora: £25.79 (excluding taxes) plus £12.41 shipping and £6.42 taxes, (annoyingly in the US taxes are often added after rather than included in the price) = £44.62. If you spend over £75 then shipping costs £6, but you still have to pay the taxes!
